FAA Private Pilot (Aircraft)

Course Overview

Aviakul Aviation Academy in partnership with the Voyager Aviation International is providing an excellent opportunity for aspiring Pilot Candidates to take up FAA’s Private Pilot License program at the Merritt Island Airport base at the vicinity of Kennedy Space Centre, Cape Canaveral, Florida.

Code of Federal Aviation Regulations 14 CFR Part 61.107(b)(1) details the areas of operation in which training must be received for the issue of a Private Pilot Certificate – Airplane Category, Single Engine Class Rating, and 14 CFR Part 61.109(a) details the minimum training requirements for the issue of a certificate.

These flight times are the minimum allowed by the regulations, but many factors influence the progress of flight training, and it is only in very few instances that a student will meet the required standards of proficiency in the minimum times

It is more usual for a student to require between 55-60 hours of training to be proficient in all areas of operation.
